Lower kindergarten is the bridge between Nursery and Higher Kindergarten. The child learns to play with numbers to do basic calculations and play with letters and sounds to create words and read sentences. The child learns more about his/her surroundings like about the parts of a fish, lifecycle of a hen, broad basics about continents and oceans. The kids by this year are better independent learners. They start utilizing their imagination and reflect it in their artwork.

About The Program
  • Essential aggression and stress management, awareness of self and self-belongings, development of listening ability, discipline and obedience as well as essential courtesies
  • Bilateral coordination, strength and balancing, pedaling and steering a tricycle, Task race, obstacle race and target games
  • Strengthening of small muscles and wrist agility, painting, ability to form alphabet, numbers and simple images with ease, development of dynamic tripod grip, free hand drawing
  • Sensorial development of visual, stereognostic sense, gustatory sense, aural sense, tactile sense and all-factory sense
  • Academic development through rote learning of numbers and tables, concept of place value and sequencing, arithmetic concepts
  • Basic awareness of world around us, our country, national identities of India, ocean and continents and animal & plant kingdom
  • Logical games and situational problem solving
  • Development of Verbal Expression and small group communications
  • Introduction to reading and writing of words and very small sentences using phonics and grammar and Hindi Swar and Vyanjan
  • Singing in tune, exploring new types of movements while dancing, and story creation and creative play
