The transition from preschool to primary school is a crucial time of change for both children as well as their parents. At Teoler, the Higher Kindergarten (H.K.G.) curriculum ensures smooth transition to formal schooling with meaningful and progressive learning experiences. The child moves beyond simple math to mental math and basic tables. By the end of HKG they are encouraged to read and answer basic questions based on comprehension and grammar is formally introduced in this year. They learn concepts beyond their physical surroundings like solar system, parts of a flower, life cycle of a frog in a fun way method. They are introduced to create basic Hindi words to form a strong base for the language.
About The Program
  • Confident expression of feeling and development of self-control, interpersonal competence, adaptation to new situation and how to address appropriately the elders, teachers and peers, learning of self-independence and empathy towards others
  • Upper limb coordination, task race, running speed and agility, physical self-control and basic locomotor skills, yoga and meditation
  • Strengthening of large and small muscles and wrist agility, development of life skills
  • Development of visual, stereognostic sense, gustatory sense, aural sense, tactile sense and all-factory sense in advance level
  • Advance concept of place value and sequencing, arithmetic concepts, word problems, concept of time, money, measurements (non-standards), frequency, table and data handling
  • Basic awareness of geography concepts, our nation and its neighbours, animal classification, understanding life-skills
  • Logical games and situational problem solving, data interpretation and graphs
  • Expression of abstract thoughts and dreams, interpersonal skills, expression of needs and feelings, quality of expression
  • Complex phonics and frequently used foundation words, extensive learning of grammatical concepts along with reading comprehension and compositions, reading and writing of simple and complex paragraphs
  • Complex artwork, story creation through given images, sorting based on multiple properties and creative writing
